Rooted Together is both a child and family-centered practice, striving to provide holistic care through occupational therapy services. Rooted Together will work closely with your family and other team members to take a team approach while focused on supporting the development of your child. Rooted Together values neurodiversity and the beautiful influence neurodiversity has upon our community and society overall. This is intentionally intertwined into all practices and recommendations included within sessions and consultations.
Carleigh is a holistic, pediatric occupational therapist, DIRFloortime-provider and founder of Rooted Together. She is child-centered and emphasizes using a relationship and play-based approach when working with children and their families. Carleigh has a vast background in working with neurodivergent children across ages and settings and believes strongly in using a team-approach.
Carleigh graduated from Creighton University achieving her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and Master of Arts in Medical Anthropology; and her Bachelors of Science in Liberal Arts and Science, majoring in Child Psychology and minoring is Aging Studies. She is certified by the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy and is licensed in the State of Illinois.
